What is a Chartered Surveyor?

Market Appraisal or Valuation?

A Market Appraisal is advice on the best way to market your property that includes a recommended Guide Price set for the purpose of negotiating a sale.

A Valuation is a detailed written Report prepared at a particular date for a specified purpose eg. taxation, secured lending, property purchase, etc. (see 'Valuations' page on this site) and provides a comprehensive analysis of the property to include the internationally recognised RICS defined Market Value.
